Qrtz is a world clock app that displays the current time in cities around the world. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data Qrtz accesses, how it is used, and what is never collected.

Location Data

Qrtz requests coarse location permission (approximate location) solely to determine your current timezone. This allows the app to display your local time accurately even when the device's system timezone is incorrect.

Location data is processed entirely on your device.
Location data is never transmitted to any server or third party.
Location data is never stored persistently.
You can deny the location permission and the app will still function using available timezone information.

Network Access

Qrtz uses the INTERNET permission for one purpose: synchronizing the clock via NTP (Network Time Protocol) servers to ensure accurate time display.

NTP requests contain no personal data — only a timestamp request.
No other network requests are made by the app.

Data We Do Not Collect

No analytics or usage tracking
No advertising or ad identifiers
No user accounts or authentication
No personal information of any kind
No data is shared with third parties

Local Storage

Qrtz stores your preferences (selected cities, display format settings) locally on your device using Android DataStore. This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app.

Children's Privacy

Qrtz does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
